Le Moulin de Soulme is a listed historic residence located below one of the thirty most beautiful villages in Wallonia.

   It is located in the heart of a protected European nature reserve where your patience will allow you to observe beavers, herons, pike, salamanders or multicolored butterflies in a preserved flora.

For its "Great Biological Interest", the entire site of the Mill with its orchards, meadows, river and woods is located in a Natura 2000 protected area at the crossroads of nature walks and a pilgrimage route to Compostela.

Dating from the 15th century, refurbished in its current appearance in 1797 and listed since 1976, the Mill is located below the village of Soulme, one of the 30 most beautiful villages in Wallonia, whose church and presbytery are also listed.

Hermeton Loop

Safety & Accessibility

As a listed historic residence, the Moulin de Soulme and its surroundings, unfortunately, cannot be fitted out for people with reduced mobility (eg due to its many stair steps of non-standard heights) and can present certain dangers for people distracted or for children left unsupervised (e.g. the reach, the river, the wheel the interior staircase and the overhang towards the cellar left without railings or barrier can cause a fall).
